I do find it interesting how in Cooking Companions/Dread Weight the Baba Yaga listens to the Chompettes.

Like they hold elections and Potato wins and takes charge. And the Baba Yaga listens to him. Let's him persuade and convince her to seek revenge.

And when it was Cabbage in charge the Baba Yaga is content to play games with her and the others.

They have a lot of sway over her which is very interesting because she's the only one with any actual power.

Really interested in who Ivan is in Dread Weight. Because a big part of the Baba Yaga in Cooking Companions is how lonely she is.

She keeps these lost souls as the Chompettes. She plays their games and let's Karen and the others stay in her cabin. She cooks for them and gets to know them.

For a cold hearted cannibal the Baba Yaga really craves companionship.

Hence the title of the game I suppose.

I think there's even an ending where we as the Baba Yaga have a loving relationship with Karin until she dies.

So wanting revenge for Ivan, as Potato puts it, really makes me curious as to what they meant to us.

We've let people go before. Everyone in the cabin falls to our hands, Razael is the only Chompette to move on because we released him.

What happened to Ivan wasn't because of us. I think we wanted him stay, but someone cut that time short.

And that someone is Kurt.
